In honor of National Dentist Day this year, we’re excited to highlight the dentists at Williamsburg Dental and explore the paths that led them to the practice. We hope after getting to know them a bit better, you’ll be more able to strike up a conversation during your next visit! Without further ado, here are your hard-working dentists!
Meet the Dentists at Williamsburg Dental
- Michael Kotopka – As a former captain in the U.S. Air Force with over 20 years of experience in the dental field, Dr. Kotopka has seen quite a lot in his career. Him and his wife Ann are more than preoccupied by their seven children, but he always finds time to practice his golf swing and hit the Lincoln trail on his downtime.
- Amy Wenninghoff – Prior to earning her dental education, Dr. Wenninghoff lived in North Dakota, where she also earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish. She’s a proud mother and wife who enjoys time outdoors when she’s not helping her neighbors craft their beautiful new smile.
- Benjamin Gessford – During his time at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Dr. Gessford helped his football team (Go Huskers!) win three national championships as an offensive lineman. Today, he’s a proud husband and father of two beautiful boys.
- Malika “Mimi” Mebarek Long – Dr. Mimi is originally from Kansas, but she’s proud to call Lincoln her new hometown. As a volunteer with the Junior League of Women, she’s proud to be able to support the advancement of women and children in the community. She’s happily married to her husband and enjoys spending time with friends, bike riding and baking.
- James “Colt” Beddes – Dr. Colt Beddes is an expert when it comes to oral surgery. During his time at the UNMC College of Dentistry, he received an award for his work revolving around implant dentistry. Today, he enjoys the great outdoors, bird watching and raising his four beautiful children with his wife.
- Andre Rossini – Originally from Brazil, Dr. Rossini has been living in Lincoln for about 10 years now. When he’s not in the office, you can also find him volunteering his dental skills at the Lincoln People’s City Mission Free Medical Clinic and Nebraska’s Mission of Mercy. Him and his wife are happy to call Lincoln their new home while they raise their daughter.
- Danielle Wasielewski – On top of her dental schooling, Dr. Waz is regularly continuing her education in a wide variety of dental topics. When she’s not creating highly catered treatment plans for her patients, she’s spending time at home with her husband and two kids and digging into a good book!
- Alyssa LeBoeuf – After being born without front teeth and going through many dental treatments, Dr. LeBoeuf realized she had an intense passion for dentistry. After graduating from the Creighton School of Dentistry, she went on to become certified in Invisalign® Treatment and NOMAD X-ray technology. She’s married to her husband Johnny and enjoys live music, tie-dying and spending time outside.
- Callie Krajicek – Last but certainly not least is Dr. Krajicek, who grew up in Lincoln and attended the Creighton University School of Dentistry. Her passion for art and creativity combined with her desire to help people achieve a beautiful smile made dentistry the perfect choice for her career. She enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, hiking and a hot cup of coffee!
